1HD-FTE Billet EGR Blank

This is a billet CNC machined EGR blanking plate, designed to bolt directly onto the EGR port at the back of the factory manifold on a 1HD-FTE or 1HZ engine. The plate also features 2 x 1/8NPT ports, which can either remain blocked off with the supplied bungs or be used for your EGT (exhaust gas temperature) probe or for measuring EMP (exhaust manifold pressure).

Thanks to the thickness of the plate, the existing manifold studs can be used. This is great as they will often bind up or snap when trying to be removed for the first time in 30 years. Thinner EGR blanking plates require the EGR pipe to be bolted back on, or the factory studs removed and short bolts used as the factory studs have a section without thread, preventing thin EGR plates from being tightened properly by themselves.
