Your factory intake manifold is modified to have a forward facing inlet.

These intake manifolds utilise the lower half of the factory intake. We require your intake manifold to complete the work. Please send us your intake with your order number (after purchasing) and we will modify it and send it back. Typically this takes 1-2 weeks depending on cleaning, welding and powder-coating lead times.
If your intake manifold is off a HDJ100, the power steering reservoir will still bolt to the same factory location on the side of the intake. If your intake is off a HDJ79 where the power steering reservoir mounts to the front of the intake manifold, it will need to be relocated to the side, similar to the HDJ100 reservoir position. This can be done by modifying your 79 series reservoir or purchasing a 100 series or aftermarket one.
Note: This intake may be more suited to 100 series / 80 series / FTE converted patrols etc. HDJ79’s have a very tight engine bay and fabricating a cold side intercooler pipe may be more difficult with a forward facing intake.
