Complete billet adaptor set allowing the VDJ200 Series LandCruiser AB60 (6 Speed Automatic Transmission) to be utilised behind the legendary Toyota 1HD-FTE Engine! This will also work with other Toyota 1H/D variants such as 1HD-FT, 1HD-T, 1HZ etc as they share the same crank/bellhousing pattern.

The AB60 is a modern, strong, widely supported 6-speed automatic with excellent gear ratios and torque-handling ability. They are a rock solid transmission that have proven their worth behind 400Hp+ tuned V8 diesel Landcruiser’s & Tundra’s. Behind a 1HD-FTE, it transforms drivability, while offering highway efficiency and comfort that older autos can’t match. Perfect for LandCruiser enthusiasts upgrading their 80, 100, or 105 Series with a tuned 1HD-FTE and wanting a modern, strong, and efficient 6-speed automatic transmission.

Adaptor Kit Includes:

• Billet CNC Aluminium Bellhousing Adaptor. Utilises all mounting holes between the AB60 & Bellhousing, and the factory locating dowels. Perfect alignment achieved from both dowels and locating lip on both sides of adaptor plate.
• Billet CNC 4140 Chromoly Torque Converter Adaptor (spigot aligns converter into back of crank)
• Billet CNC Aluminium Transfer Case Adaptor with factory rubber mount provision
• Splined Spud Shaft for AB60 to Toyota HF1A / HF2A Transfer Case
• Kit comes complete with absolutely all bolts!

Notes:

• Kit uses a factory 4 Speed A442F Auto Bellhousing, Flex Plate & Counterweight
• Uses the 200 Series Torque Converter
• Factory Engine to Gearbox Sandwich Plate must be retained for correct adaptor spacing
• There are a few control options available for the AB60 – Boostec TCU / Compushift, etc. Torque reduction on shift will provide a more comfortable shift and maintain gearbox reliability
